“Climb every mountain” is a collaborative piece created by Value Independence clients during their art session in the centre. They wanted to take part in this year's Breakout Gallery exhibition as the subject “Connection” is very important to them. During the pandemic, they worked hard to stay connected to their clients, to support each other, to remain happy and positive. Their artwork represents the effort they went through, the building blocks, the encouragement, to take one step at a time while the colours reflect their moods, and white frames the windows of their homes. The main message of their artwork “Climb every mountain” is to celebrate, remember and never forget how far they have come.
 
Value Independence are an organisation that provides support to help people to gain new skills, improve confidence and become more independent, whether it be within their own home or within the community. We do this in many ways, 1-1 support, group work, respite, art, literacy and numeracy skills, drama, cookery, shopping to name but a few.
